Acceptable Use Policy

Paidloop is a first-party, friendly-reminder tool. It exists so a business can remind its own customers about invoices the customer already owes that business. Paidloop is not a third-party debt-collection agency, does not purchase or collect debts on its own behalf, and must never be used as one.

What you may use Paidloop for

• Reminding your own customers about your own outstanding invoices.
• Sending courteous payment reminders by email, SMS and automated voice call.
• Offering customers an easy way to pay or to arrange a payment plan.

What you may not do

• Use threatening, harassing, deceptive, or coercive language, or imply legal or credit consequences.
• Collect debts you do not own, or act as a collection agency for third parties.
• Contact people who have opted out, or contact anyone outside permitted local hours.
• Upload contacts you do not have a lawful basis to contact, or send to purchased lists.
• Use Paidloop for anything other than legitimate invoices for goods or services you provided.
• Healthcare-related debts are excluded from the AI voice feature at this time.

Automated calls & recording disclosure

Our AI voice agent (Remy) always discloses, at the start of every call, that it is an automated assistant calling on behalf of your business, and that the call may be recorded. Calls are placed only between 8:00am and 9:00pm in the recipient's local time. The agent honours opt-out requests immediately, never uses threatening language, and routes any dispute to a human.

Consent & opt-outs

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each recipient. Every SMS includes opt-out instructions (reply STOP), every email includes an unsubscribe path, and recipients may opt out on a call. Opt-outs are honoured across all channels, instantly and permanently.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates this policy. Compliance is enforced at the platform level — calling hours, disclosures, opt-outs and frequency caps are built in, not optional.
